Sometimes, I cannot even change the date in ASXP without it spontaneously reverting. I have uninstalled, and re-installed the latest release candidate. This does not happen in XP11.55. I'm just trying to help you fix this before the program leaves RC status. Windows 11, version 22H2. XP12.05.

Attempted to reproduce but could not. Tried OJAI airport with real wx set initially, then changed to January 1 in XP, set historical in ASXP12, set date to October 1, 2022, all correct at this point, then checked force to sim time, and ASXP12 updated correctly to January 1, 2023 as expected. Please provide your reproduction steps and more details about the error/results you are seeing. Thank you.
