Hi, I worked this out eventually - It works just fine. I used ww.badbadweather.com and loaded the airport with the worst weather and then the best weather - as you say its a short while for the weather to update then perfect. Thanks for the great product and look forward to any enhancements you can make specifically for the XP12 platform. Pls close ticket. Adam.

Please choose "Manually Enter Weather", restart ASXP12, and be patient for the weather to smooth in. We will be providing documentation and additional guidance in the app on this soon. Thanks.

hifi-admin: Sometimes it works but other times not at all. Right now i opened the sim, started a new flight, put XP's weather on manual, restarted ASXP (many times), the sim is connected. But nothing. No weather at all is being injected. I checked the QNH and/or the cloud coverage. They doesn't match at all. Even if i press on debug>refresh weather nothing happens and it stays in the state i had set manually before.

Live Weather Mode is required in Active Sky for Live Weather.
Manually Enter Weather should be set in XPlane 12.

Be sure to select "Manual Weather" in X-Plane 12. ensureThat is all that is needed. You will see that live weather is being injected on the ASXP Map tab.
Also, ensure that you do not activate "Surface crosswind attenuation" or "Override X-Plane turbulence" as that will interfere with proper depiction. They are not active by default.

RobH: Custom Weather in ASXP12 is not required. The issue is the old documentation targeted at XP11 and we haven't issued new docs yet. Please choose "Manually Enter Weather" in XP12 and restart ASXP12, then wait for weather to smooth in.
