Would love to have an option in ActiveSky XP to run automatically when windows starts up.

This was attempted but not possible due to required elevated permissions in the current app design preventing automatic app startup. You can create a scheduled task in windows to start any app requiring elevated permissions such as ASXP12, but this is beyond the scope of our app to handle at this time.

This is currently not working for me. I do have the option checked in General. I shutdown and restarted multiple times and ASXP doesn't automatically starts. I am wondering if this has any dependency with the other feature request https://hifisimtech.canny.io/requests/p/remove-the-need-for-uac-elevated-permission-to-run-activesky

Open Run command box by pressing Windows logo + R keys. In the Run command field, type shell: startup and then press Enter key to open Startup folder. Copy and paste the app shortcut from the desktop to this Startup folder and the app is added to startup.
